Monster of the Week team celebrates uniqueness

We’ve all heard stories about things that go bump in the night and we like to think we’d have the courage and abilities to face them but, alas, most of us just don’t have what it takes. Thankfully, however, there are people who dedicate their lives to slaying the supernatural. We had the pleasure of sitting down with expert hunter Damian Weatherby who tells us all about his crack team of completely unique individuals.

“Well, what can I tell you about myself? I’m a no fuss, straight shooting, no fuss, flannel wearing, deep voiced, son of a gun. I became a hunter because that’s what my second uncle’s cousin, who raised me and my sister like we were his own children, taught me to do. It’s the family occupation as it were”

“Over there you have my little sister, Sabrina Weatherby. She initially didn’t want to join me on the road and even started attending uni until her boyfriend was killed by a demon. Now she’s by my side and does the nerdy stuff I’m far too cool to do”

“Next up we have Bobby the werewolf killer who is an absolute bad ass. Legend has it he comes from a long line of werewolf killers and when one of them dies, the next one is activated. How crazy is that? the only problem is that he has a thing for an actual werewolf and that just adds to the drama”

“We wouldn’t be any use to anyone without our resident boffin, Dr. William Knight. Who is actually part of a federal task force supported by the FBI who investigate unconventional science”

“And lastly there’s the Dr’s handler, agent Buck Matthews. He was quite the investigator until his obsession with the unknown got him blacklisted by the agency”

“So yeah, there you have it. Our job is to keep you safe from the things you weren’t meant to know about. I think we’re a solid squad who each bring our own unique flair to the team”

We then thanked Damian who went back to filing the serial number off a requisitioned blue and green van.
